Event schedule:

19:00 - Wine tasting Šalša

The legacy of the family winery Šalša dates back to 1796 with the first written mention. The winery grows Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Tramín root, Hibernal, Malverinu, Pinot Gris, Muscat, Irsai Oliver, Pálava, Riesling, Riesling Walnut, Sylvan Green, Solaris and Laurotmá. In 2019, Šalša winery received the original VOC Slovácko certification. These certified wines come exclusively from strictly selected vineyards and display the typical aromas and flavours of the region. The idea of combining wine and art on one level led the winery to collaborate with the painter Michal Halva, whose paintings were carefully selected together for each variety of their wines.

20:00 - Performance of the dance group Sešlisa

Sešlisa is a dance group. The group was formed this summer and consists of three dancing couples. The dancers pride themselves on precise performances, which they can rehearse in a minimum number of rehearsals. The repertoire is based on the Kyjov Dolňácko region. In their interpretation, besides the couple dance, you can also see the unique verbuňk, which has been listed by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity since 2005. You can see this male folk dance performed by Petr Kostiha, Vojtěch Půček and Martin Vašulka (two-time winner of the Competition for the Best Dancer of the Slovak Verbuňk). The female part of the ensemble consists of dancers Kateřina Paulíková, Barbora Šalšová and Radka Mrlinová.

21:00 - Sitting at the dulcimer

Friška is a dulcimer music from Kyjov with David Vašulka as the principal dulcimer player. It was founded in 2003 by the children's ethnographic ensemble Kyjovánek. Now it works independently, but continues to cooperate with other folklore ensembles. With its music and energy it enriches events of all kinds - weddings, balls, banquets and other entertainments or folklore festivals. Despite its folk-traditional basis, it is not afraid to venture into projects of other genres. The band has performed together with artists such as VOXEL or Pavel Helan. Their main idea is to entertain their listeners and bring them joy.
