Ratiboř

The championship was attended by 75 competitors from seven schools teaching Jiu-Jitsu (Sebeobrana Ratiboř, Sebeobrana Rýmařov, School of Jiu-Jitsu and Karate Krnov, School of Jiu-Jitsu and Karate Bruntál, Jiu-Jitsu Jeseník, Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense Brno and Self-defense section at the church primary school Hradec nad Moravicí). The competitors were divided into categories according to age and technical maturity, from children with pupil grades to adults with higher grades. The competition was held on two tatami, where everyone tried to demonstrate accurate, effective and technically perfect defensive technique to a pre-agreed attack. The techniques were judged by judges with master grades.

9 competitors in 6 categories took part in the competition for our Self-defence section Ratiboř:

Marcel Regmund - category men I. - 2nd place
Petr Zubicek - category men II. - 1st place
Karel David - category men III - 2nd place
Tomas Kocurek - category men III. - 2nd place
Kristýna Trungerová - junior male category - 3rd place

Saša Jakubíková, Petr Zubíček, Lukáš Tatýrek and Jakub Kaňák did not reach the podium this time, but gained experience for the next competitions.

In the school competition our team took 3rd place.

The championship was a very valuable experience for all of us and we hope that next time we will be able to achieve at least as good results.
