Since there is an increase in funding for municipal support, we want to take advantage of this opportunity. Since spring we have been designing several buildings for which we would like to apply for support.

The hunting lodge in Červené

The area in Červeny is undergoing gradual renovation. After the construction of a new podium and the ongoing construction of a toilet facility, which should be operational from the spring of 2021, we have decided to use the subsidy title Support for the construction of active and passive recreation areas and prepare a project for a new hunting lodge, which should be an extension to the toilet facility. The new hut would be used mainly by the hunting association, for which it would be a necessary facility, and at the same time the hut should serve as a background for the organization of entertainments, hunting trips and children's days, for which the area was previously used. We are trying to return it to its function, but with the necessary facilities and sufficient capacity for today's needs. The cottage was designed by academician. arch. Libor Sost'ák and should be two-storeyed. On the ground floor there should be a kitchen and a buffet with storage for outdoor events and on the first floor there should be a common room for the needs of the hunting club and other activities.

Rehabilitation of local roads

We intend to continue with the gradual repair of local roads. The next stage planned for next year is the street above the fire station. Not only does this street need a new asphalt surface and yard entrances, but the sewer system, which is still routed in the original concrete pipes, needs to be repaired. The sewer repair is also needed for the newly built multi-functional community center that should be connected in this direction. Here we are preparing an application for a grant to support the rehabilitation of local roads.

Revitalisation of the playground behind the Sokol Hall

Another possibility to obtain funding is the grant title Support for the rehabilitation of sports infrastructure. Here it is possible to draw on sports facilities designed to meet the needs of a primary school. The playground behind the Sokol Hall already needs a new artificial surface and, more importantly, the drainage under the surface needs to be repaired, because every time it rains the playground becomes more of a pond. As part of these repairs, the lighting should be replaced with more energy-efficient LED lighting and the fence on the side of the Mikuláštice should be raised. At the same time we would like to repair the ceiling in the hall. There are old sodium lamps that are outdated and it is already a problem to repair them. The ceiling also needs to be repaired because of the acoustics, which cause big problems in the hall.

Reconstruction of the existing fire station building

The ground floor of the former fire station is now used by the municipality as a storage room and garage for the excavator. In the future, this space should be used for cultural events, such as goulash parties. The garage should be turned into a gateway to the site and the existing warehouse into a public toilet, which will be large enough for the whole site. At the same time we would like to make the fire tower accessible, from which a lookout point should be created and a small gallery on each landing of the staircase. The fire hoses are no longer dried and the tower has lost its significance. Nevertheless, it is a landmark at the entrance to the village and it is a pity not to take advantage of it. I can confirm that the view of the village from the top of the tower is very impressive. Funding for this project is available from the Reconstruction and alteration of public buildings call.

Repair of the footbridges over the Ratibořka

There are three footbridges over the stream in the centre of the village - at the Submarine, opposite the Kašpars and at the Jednota. These footbridges are already in a very poor condition and need to be replaced. We would like to replace them with new footbridges, for which funding can be drawn from the subsidy title Support for the renewal of buildings and transport infrastructure facilities.
