Ratiboř

On Saturday 16 June 2018, the traditional Fairy Tale Journey took place. The weather was good this year and many families with children took the route. The start was at the pond in Červeny, where all participants were met by the famous Disney characters - Mickey Mouse and his friend Minnie, who welcomed them and opened the gates to the world of fairy tales. The children could meet pirates, popular characters from the Ice Kingdom, Snow White and the Snow Maiden.

with the dwarfs, the jolly Mimosa, Winnie the Pooh and her friends, fairies and also Smurfs. If the children wanted to reach the finish line, they had to complete tasks at each station and fill in the answers to the questions related to the fairy tale in the prepared supplementary book. At the end of the journey, they found out from the riddle what was waiting for them at the finish line as a reward. The destination was at the firemen's house, where the children were rewarded with a diploma and a gift after presenting the correctly filled in mystery.

In addition to the reward, a Soptík's day was prepared for the children at the fire house. The municipality of Ratiboř together with the Ratiboř Volunteer Fire Brigade prepared an afternoon of fun for everyone. A demonstration of firefighting equipment was prepared, children could try out a mini-truck, ride on quad bikes or jump in an inflatable castle. The firefighters also prepared a monkey race for the children to win a sweet prize. However, even brave parents did not miss out - a challenging monkey race was also prepared for them, where the main prize was a keg of beer. The amazing afternoon was rounded off with a foam show, where not a single child was left dry.

We would like to thank the helpful parents, teachers, Sebeobrana, Scouts, children from Ratiboř Primary School and everyone else who participated in the preparation of the Fairytale Journey - you were great! A big thank you also goes to the Municipality of Ratiboř, SDH Ratiboř, Martin Tlašek from TM Stav and Kuba Machálek who organized a wonderful afternoon at the fire house. The weather was beautiful for the whole event and not only children but also parents enjoyed it very much.
