The Road Directorate of the Zlín Region is preparing the approval of the entire construction. During the spring months, the flatness was measured and we were informed by the Regional Road Directorate that the flatness is within the norm, only in the places of overpasses will be adjusted by adding a special levelling mixture. We do not agree with this procedure and we have also reported this to the Directorate. Such a repair spoils the appearance after entering the village and moreover has absolutely no meaning.

However, the reaction of the construction supervisor for the Directorate of Construction was that the road is not our property, that we have no say in the matter and that we will need to repair the culvert under Dubí, so we should actually keep quiet and be glad that something is being done.

This attitude makes me feel more and more that the road is just for cars and that everything around it, the houses, the businesses, the people, the village, are of no interest to anyone. It has also been suggested to me that I am a "terrible" mayor because I am only kicking for the people of Ratibor and I do not meet the directorate. I don't know why we should be accommodating when we have helped during the construction process to conclude all the contracts for the right to build, we have dealt with crossings, many of which have not gone through, and the connection of local roads. In short, we were accommodating. However, when I see the current approach, I can only disagree. Everything should always be by mutual agreement, but that is not happening at the moment on the part of the directorate. We will still continue to object to the implementation of the lower part of the village, we will alert the deputy governor for transport and the director of the Regional Transport Authority. We will not shy away from the threat that if we protest nothing will be repaired. In the past, we have dealt with the poor design of a local road owned by the municipality. At that time, the construction company repaved the entire road with new asphalt and repaired its reputation. I would expect the same for the road!
