At the beginning of January, Pošta Partner began operating in temporary premises in the ceremonial hall. The service is running smoothly and we have managed to arrange cover in case of illness or vacation of the post office employee so that operations are minimally disrupted or changed. We had to deal with frequent changes to the opening hours of the original premises, which was a complication for all our customers. We were very lucky to be able to secure the services of a former post office employee, with whom we have established cooperation. I would like to thank the office's economist, Ms. Dana Konvičná, for her efforts in finding a replacement.

At the same time, repairs to the post office premises have begun. The work started very quickly after the New Year. The construction work, electrical installations, and flooring are already complete, and the furniture and equipment are currently being installed. Since the premises were demolished, we took advantage of the opportunity to connect the municipal office building to the optical data network. The optical cable connection was already prepared at the corner of the building.

We intend to use a grant from the Integrated Regional Operational Program for Tourism Development to renovate the premises and build the information center. This grant can cover up to 60% of the costs of building a tourist information center. Adjacent parking lots, outdoor furniture, and accessibility are also eligible costs. We therefore want to include in the application not only the renovation of the premises, but also the repair of the parking lot located on the side of the municipal office building, including a charger for electric cars, and equipping the area in front of the building with benches, bicycle racks, and electronic information boards.

The information center will also be able to handle some municipal office matters, such as Czechpoint, payment of fees, distribution of waste bags and codes, purchase of tickets for various theaters and social events, and more.

The information center will begin operating in May.
