During the two-hour meeting, they solved Christmas eight-question puzzles together, recognized traditional spices by smell and discovered Christmas customs through pictures. While talking about Christmas Eve dinner and presents under the tree, the seniors reminisced about their childhood and the young visitors learned how Christmas was celebrated before. The meeting culminated with singing of well-known Christmas songs and the schoolchildren were rewarded with homemade gingerbread and hot tea. The morning spent together brought joy to both generations and created a pleasant pre-Christmas atmosphere.
