Ratiboř

Almost 20 children came to the scout meetings every Monday. Sometimes there were more. They formed a good and friendly group. Throughout the year we played a lot of games, learned to get along with each other, to knot, to recognize and protect nature, to read a map... There was also health science, which we practiced thoroughly at the beginning of June with Mrs. Jitka Pařenicová from the Red Cross. She brought us dummies, lots of bandages and valuable advice to save lives and help others. The children applied the knowledge they learned at the race of fireflies and wolf cubs, which took place in the vicinity of DBC Kateřinice. The children participated in joint troop expeditions to Dinotice, troop Christmas, the Tříkrál collection, winter expeditions, and expeditions to Ivančena and Lysá Hora. In June, there was also an overnight trip to the gym, where the children had a good time, and the next day they could continue to the castle in Vsetín with a tour of the permanent exhibitions, the tower, exhibitions and the haunted exhibition, which we all enjoyed very much. We wish all children and adults a relaxing holiday and a wonderful summer. We look forward to seeing the children in September.
