Couldn't get your passport? Maybe you don't even need it!
You can use your ID card as a travel document for trips to EU countries.
Does your child have an ID card?
Remember that all children must have a travel document (identity card or passport) for trips abroad. The child's birth certificate does not replace the travel document. Children under the age of 15 can also have a citizenship card. The administrative fee for its issuance is only 100 CZK and its validity is 5 years. Personal documents for children under 15 years of age are processed by a legal representative, at any municipal office of the municipality with extended jurisdiction
Are you planning a summer vacation outside the European Union and do not have a valid passport?
Apply for a new passport on time and do not leave the application to the last minute. You will pay an administrative fee of CZK 600 for issuing a passport within 30 days.
Did you not submit your passport application on time?
You can apply for a passport within 24 hours on a working day or within 5 working days. The administrative fee for a passport issued within 24 hours of a working day is CZK 6,000 (CZK 2,000 for citizens under 15) and CZK 3,000 for a passport issued within 5 working days (CZK 1,000 for citizens under 15).
