Paragliders' starting point.
Paragliding is an air sport subject to civil aviation laws. Paragliding is performed using a paragliding wing - a parachute glider, which falls under the category of sport flying devices under the administration ofthe LAA of the Czech Republic. It is launched from a hill by starting or from a plane by means of a towing device. An experienced pilot can glide by using the rising air currents. Upward currents can be "mechanical", when the airflow is lifted by a terrain obstacle (pitching), or thermal, when air heated from the ground surface rises upward (thermals).
You can hike up to the nearby summit of Mt. Kyčera (588 m) by taking a rutted path upwards. The valley of Hološín, which is on your right, can be followed to the contour path below Křížový, then to Nivka, Semetín.
