Job description:
complete processing of the municipality's accounting agenda (budget, financial statements, reports, budget measures)
registration and management of municipal assets (acquisition, inventory, disposal of assets)
managing the municipality's treasury, managing revenue and expenditure
preparation of documents for audit bodies, preparation of documents for audits and tax returns
maintaining the filing and archiving of accounting documents
communication with government authorities, banking institutions and other partners
administration of subsidies, projects and grants
other administrative and economic tasks related to the running of the municipal office
Requirements:
at least a secondary school education in economics (university education is an advantage)
experience in public accounting (e.g. knowledge of KEO4 or similar software)
knowledge of legal provisions on accounting, budgetary rules and municipal property
accuracy, responsibility and independent decision-making skills
excellent organisational and communication skills
experience in a similar position in public administration or local government an advantage
PC skills (MS Office, Internet, e-mail)
