We promise on dog ears, on cat conscience, that we will be good students, no truants at all. We'll learn, we don't want any F's.
Moments when feelings of joy, happiness, but also sadness are intertwined are especially at the end of the school year, when we say goodbye to children who have grown up with us for 3, 4 or even 5 years and send them on their next adventurous journey. In these moments, not a single eye remains dry and your throat constricts and doesn't allow you to speak. We experienced these moments during the ‘Passing Ceremony’ of our future first graders. To the sound of pleasant music, the children, led by their teachers, entered a room full of parents and relatives. The headmistress gave the opening speech and then handed over the scepter to the teacher Pavlina, who passed the scepter to the children with her magic crayon. Each of the children received gifts from their teacher and took the common promise of a schoolboy with their teacher Katka. With the song ‘Girls from our kindergarten’ the children went to rejoice with their children.
But the celebration continued in the school garden, which was open to all those who wanted to come and say goodbye to the 2024/2025 school year. The feast was plentiful, buckets of water were prepared for those who wanted to cool down and the children also had the opportunity to take part in football training under the guidance of Zbynek Petr and Ondra Karoly.
Thank you all, on behalf of the whole team, for your goodwill and we wish you a wonderful holiday season.
