The Vsetín Municipal Office, Department of the Environment, as the water authority with subject-matter jurisdiction under Section 104 254/2001 Coll., on Water and on Amendments to Certain Acts (Water Act, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the 'Water Act') and locally competent pursuant to Section 11 of the Act 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Procedure Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the 'Administrative Code'), in accordance with the provisions of Section 115a) of the Water Act, in the public interest due to prolonged rainless weather and falling water levels of surface waters to the limit of hydrological drought, without compensation

with effect from 25.7.2022 until further notice

Prohibits
surface water management:

I. pursuant to the provisions of Sections 6(4) and 105(1) of the Water Act, prohibit the general
the disposal of surface water from the following watercourses in the administrative area
the administrative district of the town of Vsetín
Vsetínská Bečva
Jasenický brook
Jasenka
Rokytenka
Semetínský brook
Vsetínský náhon
including their tributaries.
II. pursuant to the provisions of Sections 109(1) and 106(1) of the Water Act, prohibits
the abstraction of surface water from watercourses in the entire administrative area of the ORP
Vsetín, with the exception of permitted abstractions for water supply purposes and for
watering of livestock.
