We decided to get to know autumn a little differently – with all our senses! We started our theme day by talking together about autumn, its signs and fruits. We got to know deciduous trees and there was also reading comprehension.
Then we divided into two groups so that we could fully try out the individual activities. In the sensory workshop, we discovered different scents, tasted autumn fruits, worked with natural materials, created and relaxed.
Outside, we moved a lot again so that we wouldn't be cold in the autumn weather. We enjoyed the movement relays with chestnuts, assembled geometric shapes from natural materials and collected apples from our trees. We then used the collected apples in our artistic creation to create imprints.
Throughout the day, we not only expanded our knowledge about autumn, but also tried a lot of interesting activities, during which we engaged all our senses, imagination and movement skills.![]()
