At our school, we had the opportunity to welcome the writer Michaela Fišarová and the actor Miroslav Reil, who prepared an interesting meeting full of stories for our students.
The discussion was focused primarily on supporting reading literacy and was intended to show pupils that books are not only a compulsory part of school teaching, but can also be a source of fun and adventure.
A great diversification of the program was the acting performance of excerpts from the book Kanalníčci. Thanks to the engaging recitation and acting processing, the pupils could not only hear the story, but also experience it in a slightly different way. The samples aroused interest among the pupils and showed how a literary text can come to life right in front of the audience's eyes through an actor's performance.
The meeting was held in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The pupils had the opportunity to look into the world of the writer, learn more about the creation of books and at the same time realize that behind each story there is not only the author's imagination, but also a lot of work, ideas and experience.
We believe that this meeting was an inspiration for our students to reach for the book in their free time and discover the world of new stories in it.
