Our school was visited by RNDr. Bc. Jaromír Vachutka, a long-time breeder and expert on exotic birds, who prepared an almost two-hour ecological-breeding program for our students.
And he certainly didn't stop at talking. He also arrived at school with his feathered charges, so the pupils had a unique opportunity to observe various exotic birds up close.
The pupils learned a number of interesting facts about the life of exotic birds, their behaviour, food, reproduction and proper care. An important part of the programme was also the topic of nature conservation and endangered species.
We would like to thank RNDr. Bc. Jaromír Vachutka for the visit, the engaging narration and the unusual encounter with the world of exotic birds.
