Jirka and Iva from the Red Cross visited the 5th-grade class to teach the students the basics of first aid.
During the program, the children learned how to respond appropriately in emergency situations, how to call for help, and how to treat minor injuries. Great emphasis was placed on hands-on practice—for example, the students practiced treating wounds, the recovery position, and the basics of CPR.
We would like to thank Jirka and Iva for a very informative presentation.
