It was a surprise for some, so we apologize to everyone who missed it. At the same time, we thank everyone who visited us – and there were not a few of them! The library and holidays simply belong together.

We also made the summer more interesting by playing board games in the parish garden in July and August. However, the most players were attracted by the popular Lavender Sunday, when we were also open. The weather was good, so nothing prevented us from enjoying all three afternoons.

Both young and old players came into their own. We tried various board games, there was a nerd and, of course, books. Some games brought together experienced players, while others the rules were just appearing together. The main goal was not to win, but to spend a relaxing afternoon together and enjoy the holiday peace – and I think we succeeded.

Thank you to everyone who came and we look forward to playing again next time!
