Mayor Martin Žabčík contributed to the significance of the festive moment, who nicely summarized to the children why it is important to be able to read. Librarian Zdeňka, head of small libraries in the Vsetín district, was also present, who kindly checked whether the children were worthy of receiving the title "Little Reader". Of course, the children passed all the tests and after the festive fanfare sounded, they were paraded with a sword in the hands of the knight Bedřich. The festive moment was connected with congratulations, and since our library participated in the nationwide project Book for first-graders, all the children also took away a cute book about Dubánky, which is intended directly for first-graders and is not in regular distribution. The book is about searching for a mysterious message, so we made the festive moment even more varied for the children by searching for arrows in the library and a cipher, which our first-graders figured out so quickly that there is no doubt that they are good at reading.
