Ratiboř

We started by attending the annual general meeting at the sister village in Považská Teplá, where five of our members went. On March 23, 2019, two members went to the training of preventionists, which took place in Valašské Meziříčí at the Fire Brigade station. They were introduced to the causes of fires and escape routes.

In April we were pleased to congratulate Jan Kovář on his jubilee. At the end of April, as every year, there was a pilgrimage to St. Hostyn, which we attended.

Due to inclement weather we had to cancel the traditional Candlelight Vigil. We provided help in organizing the Goulash King contest.

On June 15, 2019, we spent a pleasant day with the children in the area of the U Ogarů restaurant. Young and old had the opportunity to see firefighting equipment from Ratibor and Jablůnky, ride on a quad bike or master the monkey bars. There was also a foam show on the dance floor, a digger and a bouncy castle. We were visited by representatives from the local group of the Czech Red Cross from Ratiboř, where there was an opportunity to try out, for example, simulation glasses imitating alcohol consumption. We would like to thank the Municipality of Ratiboř, Martin Tlašek from TM Stav and MS ČČK Ratiboř for their support. We ended the day with a dance party with the Focus Rock group.

The racing team was preparing in the gym in Ratiboř over the winter for this year's season. I have to praise them again for their success, as they have already won several cups. We would also like to thank all the sponsors, which are HAJDIK a.s., Kayaku Safety Systems Europe a.s., DeWALT Morava, JC-Metal s.r.o., Invista s.r.o., CAPEXUS s.r.o. and of course a big thank you to the Municipality of Ratiboř.

• 27.3.2019, 13.12 - low vegetation fire of 20×50m, which spread to the forest.
• 12. 5. 2019, 15.42 - search for a missing person (two-year-old boy), the person was found safe and unharmed after about an hour of searching. 15 JSDH and PČR intervened at the scene.
• 22 May 2019, 12.39 - technical assistance (pumping out flooded cellars, sandbagging, sewer cleaning). The reason was intense rains.
