DECISION GRANTING PERMISSION FOR THE CLOSURE OF A ROAD

Operative part:

The Transport Administrative Proceedings Section of the Department of Construction and Transport Proceedings of Zlín City Council, as the competent road administration authority pursuant to Section 40(4)(a) and (5)(b) of Act No. 13/1997 Coll., on roads, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Roads Act”), and as the administrative authority with subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction pursuant to the provisions of Section 10 and Section 11(1)(b) of Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Procedure Code, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrative Procedure Code”), and as the administrative authority authorised by the Regional Authority of the Zlín Region by Resolution Ref. No. KUZL39668/2026 dated 21 April 2026, in which the Zlín City Council is designated as the locally competent road administration authority to conduct proceedings and issue a decision pursuant to Act No. 13/1997 Coll. within the territory of the Zlín Region for the purposes of holding the sporting event Barum Czech Rally Zlín, Special Stage 3.6 Troják on Saturday 15 August 2026, and, in the course of the administrative proceedings, examined the application for authorisation to close the road to traffic, submitted on 3 June 2026 by the applicant

(hereinafter referred to as ‘the applicant’), and on the basis of this review, consultations with the Police of the Czech Republic and the owners of the roads on which traffic is to be closed and along which a diversion is to be routed, and with the municipalities within whose built-up areas the traffic closure is to be authorised and through which the diversion is to be routed - pursuant to Section 24 of the Roads Act and Section 39(4) of Decree No. 104/1997 Coll., implementing the Roads Act, as amended

a u t h o r i s e s

a partial closure of traffic on road II/490 in Zlín, Dlouhá Street, the right-hand lane of road II/490, junction section No. 3; section name: Sokolská; junction stationing approx. km 3.200 – 3.290, to take place during the ceremonial start on 14 August 2026

and

a complete closure of local roads in Zlín, Class II and III roads and publicly accessible service roads within the Zlín administrative district, to the extent shown in the attached maps, as part of the “55th Barum Czech Rally Zlín” sporting event from 13 August 2026 to 16 August 2026

(hereinafter referred to as the “closure”)
