Regulation of the State Veterinary Administration

The Regional Veterinary Administration of the State Veterinary Administration for the Zlín Region, as the competent administrative authority in terms of both jurisdiction and subject matter pursuant to Section 49(1)(c), and further pursuant to Section 54(2)(a) and (3) of Act No. 166/1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on Amendments to Certain Related Acts (the Veterinary Act), as amended, in accordance with the provisions of Section 75a(1) and (2) of the Veterinary Act, Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016 on animal diseases and amending and repealing certain acts in the area of animal health (“Animal Health Legal Framework”), as amended, and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/687 of December 17, 2019, supplementing Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as regards rules for the prevention and control of certain listed diseases, as amended, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 75a(1) and (2) of the Veterinary Act, amends:

extraordinary veterinary measures

Issued on May 5, 2026, by Order of the State Veterinary Administration, Ref. No. SVS/2026/076692 (No. 82/2026 of the Collection of Legal Regulations of Local Government Units and Certain Administrative Authorities) to prevent the spread of a dangerous disease—Newcastle disease in poultry in the Zlín Region, as follows:

Cancellation of the protection zone and extension of the surveillance zone

(1) The protection zone defined in Article 1(1) of the Regulation of the State Veterinary Administration, Ref. No. SVS/2026/076692, dated May 5, 2026, is hereby abolished.

(2) Cadastral areas: Babice u Kelče (600687); Komárno (668621); Kunovice (677353); Loučka u Valašského Meziříčí (687022); Osíčko (713074); Podhradní Lhota (723797); Podolí u Valašského Meziříčí (724335); Příkazy u Osíčka (713082); Rajnochovice (739006), are now part of the surveillance zone pursuant to Article 1(2) of the State Veterinary Administration Regulation No. SVS/2026/076692 dated May 5, 2026.
