Ratiboř

On Saturday 15 June 2019, the traditional Fairy Tale Journey took place. It was beautiful warm weather and many families with children came to the start, which was at the pond in Červeny. This year's Fairytale Journey was in the spirit of fairy tales with animals. At the start, children were greeted by Maya the Bee and Vilík and invited to a fairy-tale forest, where Ferda the Ant and Ladybug, the Three Little Pigs, the Stork and the Fox, the Goat and the Goats and the Wolf, the Hedgehog and the Hare, the Dog and the Cat and the Frogs were waiting for them. The children performed tasks along the way. Those who wanted to get a prize at the finish line, besides a diploma, needed to answer correctly the questions about the fairy tale in the prepared supplementary questionnaire. In the mystery at the end of the fairy tale journey, all the children found out that "In life it is important to have good friends."

The fairy-tale journey was traditionally finished at the firemen's house, where Soptík's day was prepared for the children. The municipality of Ratiboř together with the Ratiboř Volunteer Fire Brigade prepared a wonderful afternoon of fun for everyone. Not only children could see the firefighting equipment of the Ratiboř and Jablonec firefighters, ride on quad bikes, try dredging with a mini-truck or jump in the inflatable castle. Our firefighters did not disappoint and once again prepared a popular monkey race for a sweet prize for the children. For the brave parents there was a challenging monkey bars where the main prize was a keg of beer. The lovely afternoon was rounded off with a foam, and finally a water show. Not one child was left dry, but on such a hot day no one minded.

We would like to thank the helpful parents, teachers, children from Ratiboř Primary School and everyone else who participated in the preparation of the Fairytale Journey - you were great! A big thank you also goes to the Municipality of Ratiboř, SDH Ratiboř, Martin Tlaska from TM Stav who organized a wonderful afternoon at the fire house. The weather was beautiful for the whole event and not only children but also parents enjoyed it very much.
