The past week in our nursing home in Ratiboř belonged to nice visitors, laughter, good coffee and the smell of freshly baked goodies.
Mrs. Tamara Juchelková, a representative and teacher of the village of Ratiboř, came to wish our birthday boys. We really appreciate that she makes time for us, every such meeting is precious, pleasant and enriching for us. Thank you!
On Thursday, Mrs. Alena Vaculíková from the Ratiboř library brought us a good dose of laughter. She chose dozens of jokes from a large book of anecdotes and together we voted for the funniest one. It wasn't easy at all – we laughed until we were in tears! And because telling anecdotes also exercises memory, we also added our own favorite pieces.
We also commemorated International Coffee Day and prepared a special Algerian coffee. And to top it off, our facilities were scented with freshly baked cinnamon snails and popular carrots. Of course, there was a common song, talking and sharing life stories during the baking.
Because that's what our meetings are all about – the joy of the little things, friendship, sharing and the moments that can brighten up the whole day.
