At each meeting, the younger scouts are educated, improved and try to be useful. Today's meeting completely changed the scenario when we got the opportunity to collect acorns, which will one day become sturdy oaks. The fireflies tried and in an hour of work they were able to collect a whole bag that they did not even pick. As a reward, we could look into the nursery, where beeches are already growing - nurseries and spruces. And at the end of the meeting, we planned a ceremonial handover of three drops of dew. It is a valuable trophy that older Fireflies can get if they complete three tasks - a few hours in solitude, when they observe others in the campsite and are not allowed to be seen, a journey through the night forest without lighting and a several-kilometer expedition (they can complete it in a group) with orientation on the map, identification of natural plants and creation. The girls managed everything on a weekend trip to Hrachovec and we are really proud of them. Although not every next meeting will be so special, we will definitely enjoy them all.
