Two young female travelers set out on an expedition across Canada to the wild north of their dreams – Alaska. Their journey took them a total of 13,000 kilometers in a several-month adventure in a legendary Land Rover Defender, far from civilization and available spare parts.

 

The lecture will offer an authentic look at life in the wilderness, traveling off the beaten track, encounters with wild animals, and challenging journeys through areas without trails. You will also learn about disappearing glaciers and the beauty of Alaskan nature, which is rightly called "the last frontier."

 

The evening will include photographs, videos, and musical accompaniment on the ukulele.
