Deny and Carol, known as the "traveling girls," return to Ratiboř after a year with another travel lecture—a four-month journey through Central America.
During 128 days, they traveled through six countries, covered almost 8,000 kilometers, and experienced countless extraordinary and challenging moments. They visited Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. In their lecture, they will share their experiences of:
swimming with rays and sharks
flying in a small Cessna plane over the legendary Blue Hole
climbing mountains, Mayan pyramids, and volcanoes (they even rode down one of them on sleds)
canoeing through a Mayan sacrificial cave
swimming under waterfalls and wandering through the tropical jungle
observing unique flora and fauna
tasting traditional local dishes
They spent a large part of their trip in the company of local residents, from whom they gained valuable information about life, customs, beliefs, and culture. Thanks to this, they can offer visitors an authentic and personal view of Central America, complemented by photographs and engaging storytelling.
