Ratiboř

Here on our farm – during the second weekend in March, the Community Center came alive with a genuine farm atmosphere. Over a hundred children in colorful masks arrived for the children’s carnival – there were cute little bees, a little sheep, a piglet, a bunny, and farmers; a fox even showed up, and of course, fairy-tale characters were there too. We saw Fiona from Shrek, Zora, Wednesday with her friend Enid, and even Maria; Elsa didn’t forget to bring Anna, and Aladdin flew in too—though unfortunately without his magic carpet. Every child received a small gift from the parents’ club—a hot dog, a drink, and farm-themed stickers of their choice.

The Takoda association provided the entertainment program, bringing a wide variety of themed games. The children could try their hand at milking a cow or collecting eggs. Anyone who felt like it could dance, jump on the mats, get their face painted, or take a photo in the farm-themed photo booth. The entire afternoon was filled with joy, laughter, and children’s imagination.

A big thank you goes out to all the parents who helped prepare the hall and run the event. Even though we could have used a few extra hands, thanks to the support of a sponsor who contributed to the cost of temporary workers, we managed everything perfectly.

Invitation

The Municipality of Ratiboř and the Parents’ Club at the Preschool and Elementary School invite everyone to the traditional Ratiboř CARNIVAL, this time with the theme “ON OUR FARM,” which will take place on March 14, 2026, starting at 2 p.m. at the Ratiboř Community Center in Ratiboř. As last year, Lukáš Kamas from the Takoda association will serve as the emcee.

Accompanying adults – 100 CZK/person

Tickets for accompanying adults will be on sale starting Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Ratiboř Community Center.

By participating in the Carnival, you consent to the publication of photos and videos for the purposes of the municipality of Ratiboř, on the municipal website, Facebook, the TV information channel, and in print materials.
