Where does the money from the Post Bellum Veterans Day collection go
Pin a poppy as a symbol of respect for war veterans and other freedom fighters. By purchasing a flower, you will contribute to directly helping our heroes and preserving their stories.

What do you mean by that?
Forgetting is easy, which is why we film and tell testimonies that should not be forgotten. More than 20 years ago, documentary filmmakers from Post Bellum began filming the life stories of war veterans, mostly from World War II. The interest of documentary filmmakers has also expanded to include people who fought for our freedom, even if they did not wear a uniform. More than 1200 war veterans and freedom fighters have told their stories for Memory of Nations. Thanks to this collection, we can document more testimonies of these heroes.
Since 2020, we have been offering support to these people through the Memory of Nations Help Centre. This provides real assistance to those who find themselves in difficult situations. We provide social work, professional counselling, regular visits by volunteers and offer material and financial assistance.
Every crown from your support goes to the activities of the Memory of Nations in the above-mentioned areas.
