Dear sports friends,

For the first time we can evaluate together the progress and results of the partnership with the neighbouring club FC Semetín, which was concluded in the summer.
in men's football. As far as organizational and financial matters are concerned, we can state that we have fulfilled all the agreements made on our side, including playing one competitive match of the "A" team on the pitch in Semetín. From the sporting point of view, we are of the opinion that we have managed to integrate the Semetín players into the "A" team without any problems and the coaching duo of Vít'a Sacher and Mira Kamas has significantly improved the team's playing style, which is reflected in the results achieved in the competitive matches. Although after successful and good quality summer preparatory matches our fans' expectations were probably higher, it is necessary to remember that competitive matches have a different character and not always a nice game performance will ensure the desired points. The absence of key players in some matches, the lack of a wide squad despite the merger with Semetín, and sometimes even shooting bad luck played a role.

The result is the 6th place in a very unusually balanced table of I.B class KS Zlín region with 22 points and 4 points loss to the 1st place.

On the other hand, the integration of the players of the Ratiboř reserve into the combined "B" team, which was registered in the lowest competition - IV. class with the ambition of promotion to III. class, was not without problems.
this season. Problems arose mainly due to the different views on the team building, composition and short-term goals of the representatives of both clubs. The lack of time for the necessary playing time and the formation of the team's skeleton and the large number of players deployed and tested throughout the autumn certainly had an impact. The quality of the squad was significantly affected by the frequent lack of players in the "A" team, hence the small number of substitutes who could play for the reserves. All this culminated in the last autumn match, which at the beginning was started with only 10 players. The summary of all the above is a disappointing 5th place in the competition table with 16 points and 11 points behind the 1st place. We are not satisfied with this state of affairs, not even Ratiborians, let alone the fans and officials of Semetín, where the reserve plays its matches. This state of affairs could not fail to be reflected at the joint meeting of the representatives of the committees of both clubs after the end of the autumn part of the season, where it was agreed, after a mutual exchange of very honest and critical opinions and views on the autumn joint functioning, that it is necessary to stabilize the personnel "A" - team and at the jointly planned next meeting to determine the skeleton of the "B" - team, on which to build with a view to possible promotion to III. class from the 2nd place in the table.

Economically, I can say that our club is stable, especially thanks to the support of the Municipality of Ratiboř, the main sponsors of the youth (Říha Group) and men (TM Stav) and other sponsors and also because of the subsidies from the program My Club of the Ministry of Education and the Microregion of Municipalities. To our complete satisfaction, we still lack the facilities of new modern changing rooms, the building permit for which should be issued in the near future and then we will try to obtain subsidies for their construction together with the Municipal Authority from the appropriate announced subsidy titles.

Finally, let me thank all our fans for their patience and support, the youth coaches, committee members and other volunteers for their time dedicated to our sport, the leadership of the Municipality
and sponsors for their support, and to all the citizens of our beautiful village of Ratiboř for its great representation in the Village of the Year competition, and I wish us all a wonderful and peaceful Christmas season and all the best in 2020.
