Ratiboř

Our radio network has been in operation for many years and we have come to the problem that the batteries that power the individual radio nests are at the end of their life and need to be replaced gradually. There are currently 59 speakers installed in the village. All of them need to have their batteries replaced. The cost of one battery is CZK 5 000 and does not include installation. We have therefore taken the opportunity to apply for a subsidy from the State Environmental Fund. The total amount for the modernisation is CZK 1 953 040, of which 85% will be the subsidy already received. However, not only will the batteries be replaced, but a system will be installed in all the detectors to monitor the functionality of the individual radio nests, and data on any malfunctions will be collected at the central radio station at the local authority. This will provide an overview of the entire system. Now, if the radio is not working in a particular section, the citizens themselves report the fault. At the same time, the network will be expanded by 7 more reporting nests and the flood plan of the municipality of Ratiboř will be updated. The implementation of the whole project is planned for 2021.
