The final conference of the BE READY project demonstrated that addressing urban heat islands (UHI) is not just about technology, but above all about people, collaboration, and sharing experiences.

The meeting offered an open dialogue among cities, experts, and policymakers on how to turn data into concrete actions and how even small measures can bring about real change.

The main message of the conference was that even cities with limited resources can start—step by step—to implement measures, share innovations, and work together to find practical solutions.

The BE READY project thus confirmed that collaboration across Europe is key and leads to turning ideas into action.
